Dual Enrollment:
COCC:
Last week the subject of dual enrollment and college classes came up. I love that it did as I was able to get in touch with COCC and ask a few lingering questions regarding homeschoolers up at the college vs. public school. For example: You do not need to be enrolled in the public school system, but the credits would be paid for out of pocket.
Here are a few resources for you should you be interested in seeing the steps to enrolling in college level classes during high school.

Paper Rater:
Check. This. OUT! I gave this a whirl and it actually came up with the same grade I gave my kid on a paper, which made me feel less tragic on my grading, but it was SO fantastic! It checks grammar, spelling, style and GRADES the paper! It gives tips and suggestions if style need strengthening. I feel like I hit the holy grail here!
