They are currently looking for voluneers for The Canal House.
- Providing a meal for up to 6 youth…this could mean prepping and cooking at the house and sharing at family style dinner, or just bringing an already prepared meal.
- One on One mentoring for youth, helping with homework, filling out job applications, college applications, etc…
- Giving a “class” to a small group of youth (building life skills)
- Building a raised flower bed, picnic table
- Also looking for a basketball hoop, bbq, other outdoor games for smaller area
Volunteers would be background checked through Kindred Connections, and fill out Family Support Volunteer application.
