Our Speaker for the Weekend of Rest 2025

Cindy King is a mother of four, grandmother of four, and lover of Jesus! She was born and raised in Portland Oregon, where she practiced midwifery for 15 years, married and started a family. With four children, she and her late husband Lonnie moved to Bend 28 years ago and found a vibrant homeschool community to t into. Throughout the years, Cindy facilitated Speakers for Jesus, led various 4-H groups, taught her children through high school, and provided space for homeschool band! She started her own business involving energy healing and has provided inner healing ministry as a pastoral counselor since her youngest graduated high school in 2013. Being a wife for 20 years, then a single mom for 20 years has given her insight into the needs of women in many stages of life. Her heart’s desire is to assist women of all ages in their quest for intimacy with Jesus and to become healers themselves. She recently co-led an intimate rest-and-retreat for women in Kahului, Maui and is excited to spend this retreat time with you and see the Lord refresh and restore your hearts!
